Dance movement therapy – 60 minutes, €80.00

*To cancel an appointment, please give at least 48 hours notice. A no-show entails full payment.

I use two different types of spaces: One is in the Pijp at Damoves, Eerste Jan Steenstraat 103, 1074 CN Amsterdam . It is cosy and compact and especially good if you are nervous about taking up space.
The other is a lovely, spacious dance studio at the Meevaart, Baliestraat 48a, 1094 JN, Amsterdam Oost. Here you can spread your wings!
Health insurance cover
Dance movement therapy is covered by ‘aanvullende verzekeringen’ (additional insurance). This means you do not need a referral from your doctor and you do not need to pay any costs at your own risk – ‘eigen risico’. In the Netherlands, health insurance can be changed once a year in December.
Please check the zorgwijzer to see if your health insurance company gives compensation for ‘alternatieve zorg / complementaire zorg’.

I am a member of the NVDAT (Nederlandse Vereniging voor danstherapie) which is affiliated with Federatie Vaktherapeutische Beroepen (FVB). Click on this link if you would like to find out more information about dance movement therapy or the possibilities for compensation if you are on a low income.
If you are already having a form of verbal therapy, it may be possible for you to receive 20% of the treatment in the form of ‘vaktherapie’, in this case dance therapy. Check with your ‘hoofdbehandelaar’ to see if this construction would be possible.
